Birgit Bednar-Friedl

Birgit Bednar-Friedl is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Graz. Her research interests are:

  • Environmental and resource economics
  • Economics of climate change, in particular mitigation and adaptation
  • Transport and land use
  • CGE modelling (theoretical and applied dynamic modelling (OLG models, control theory)
  • Econometrics, contingent valuation

Prof. Bednar-Friedl is also one of the leaders of the EconClim research group. Further information can be found on the corresponding website.
