Doctoral School of Economics

The program is based on the curriculum for the doctoral program in Social and Economic Sciences 2024 (available in German only).

Students with a dissertation subject from the field of economics are admitted to the Doctoral School of Economics. This was established by the Rectorate in 2016 as a faculty center (in accordance with § 15 of the organizational plan) of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics. A new version of the founding declaration for the Doctoral School was published in June 2024.

The Doctoral School is intended to provide a platform for improved doctoral training. It will enable stronger networking among doctoral students as well as stronger and earlier integration into the research work of the Department of Economics.
