Contacting the institute regarding participation in a course in the 2026 summer semester
When inquiring about course registrations, please provide the following information:
- the course number in the email subject line,
- your student ID number in the text, and
- for registration in a parallel group of Microeconomics 1, Macroeconomics 1, International Economics 1, or Public Finance 1, the group in which you would like a place (plus an alternative) and, if you already have a fixed place and would like to change groups, the group in which you are already registered.
Registration for the examination board exam, individual courses and for Incoming students:
Registration for the examination board exam takes place exclusively at the Dean's Office using the form provided (further information can be found here*). Students who are entitled to attend individual courses should also contact the Dean's Office* exclusively (please scroll down to the relevant section under ‘Wer möchte sich anmelden’).

Incoming students:
Incoming students who wish to attend Bachelor's level courses must register for all courses themselves via UNIGRAZonline during the registration period. If this is not possible, please fill out the ‘Course Registration for Incoming Students’ form and send it by email to the Academic Advisor, Dr Christian Hirt.
Incoming students who wish to attend Master's level courses must complete the ‘Course Registration for Incoming Students’ form and send it by email to the Academic Advisor, Dr Christian Hirt.
