Markus Ruhs
Markus Ruhs is a PhD student and works as a research assistant at the Institute of Economics.
His research interests lie in the fields of labour market economics, education and training policy, and the economic implications of artificial intelligence. His work focuses on how technological change affects the workforce, skill requirements and individual educational decisions.
In his current research, he is particularly concerned with theoretical models of reskilling decisions in the context of AI-induced structural change. A particular focus is on the analysis of incentives for further training, uncertainty regarding the success of such training, and the resulting implications for labour market and economic policy.
