Environmental Economics

Basics of environmental economics (externalities, public goods, information asymmetries); analysis of local, national and international environmental problems (climate, energy, resources, biodiversity etc.); valuation of environmental goods and services in case of non-existent markets.

  • Knowledge of economic models available in environmental economics (structure, research questions, results)
  • Acquire knowledge of fields of application (such as energy, climate, ressources, transport), namely to research details, recognize, summarize, discuss and contrast different results
  • Develop an understanding of ow to write scientifically (formulate hypothesis, derive arguments, search literature, use of citations, structure of a scientific article, style and format)
