Orientation Course Economics

Students are aware of the characteristics of their curriculum. Besides they are informed about career opportunities and are enabled to develop realistic expectations both regarding their study and their career.
Students are acquainted with the organizational structure of the University and its facilities, notably the libraries. Furthermore, they are informed where to get support in any kind of study related matter.

 

  • Giving an overview of the organisational structure of the University, its facilities, helpdesks and the Student Union. Introducing the University Libraries.
  • Giving an outline of the study of economics including its contents, the time flow of the curriculum and desirable skills and interests.
  • Presentation of occupational areas and career opportunities. Alumni will provide their practical experience.
