Institutional Economics
Students are able to develop their own theory-based arguments in debates regarding topics in the Economics of Institutions at the constitutional level (including issues of multi-level governance emerging w.r.t. global issues such as climate policy) as well as at the level of current debates regarding reforms of in areas such as social security or competition policy. Moreover, they are able to apply suitable methods of microeconomics and game theory for analyzing those problems.
